dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to analyze national literature related to scientific production in the humanization of prenatal care. The review methodology was based on the search of articles in national databases, and selected from descriptors. Were collected articles published from 2001 to 2009. By analysis of the articles showed that there is need for training of health professionals and improve its practices developed during the prenatal, early uptake of pregnant women to be able to achieve the proper care and procedures recommended. The study showed that pregnant women, in general, are still not satisfied with the type of care received. We conclude that the humanization of the prenatal needs to be deployed to help in the creation of the pregnant woman bonding with the service and the accession of the same health activities and, consequently, reducing maternal and infant mortality.
