dc.description.abstractWomen killing it and Born to game were designed aiming elementary and pre intermediate (A1/2 – A2) teenagers from sixth grade of Elementary school. The material was developed based on critical thinking (CT) and communicative language teaching (CLT). The themes of the units were selected considering the opportunity to promote critical thinking and its relevance to the students’ lives. The activities, in an integrated and contextualized way, aim at giving voice to learners by raising discussions and inviting them to reflect upon their background knowledge.
