receive a lot of attention and care. It is not rare cases of people who have faced or are
facing various problems with new buildings, recently busy, be these are caused by
errors in the construction processes, design flaws, poor quality of execution or
negligence of professionals and responsible company. The present work aims at
demonstrate how a technical inspection carried out upon receipt of a property by a
trained and qualified professional provides security to owners and ensures that the
dream of home ownership or the investment made don't become a difficult and
exhausting time. Purpose of technical inspection for receiving civil construction works
is the verification of services performed in view of what was negotiated between the
parties involved, checking the physical conditions of the building, the correct
functioning of systems and compliance with the descriptive memorial, design and
documents. During the reception inspection, anomalies, defects or addictions may be
identified. These, when detected early, makes it possible to trigger those responsible
and request a prior solution, avoiding the evolution of problems and future
“headaches”. Exploratory research in theoretical frameworks such as standards,
resolutions and technical documents, the quantitative data from surveys that point out
the population's desire to acquire new properties and the number of complaints arising
from defects in properties made by purchasers, in addition to the presentation of
