Excertos de um memorial acadêmico

Abstract

The article presents passages extracted from Rodrigo Duarte's academic memorial, issued as a partial requirement to earn the position of Full Professor at the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Its goal was to produce a contribution to the memory of the aforementioned department while focusing the academic itinerary of it author as its former undergraduate and graduate student as well as its faculty member – a period of circa forty years linked to this institution. The academic memorial, from which the article was generated is a more than hundred thirty pages text, in which some biographical topics converge with a narrative on the specific condition of the institution that hosted its author for so a long time and the intertwining of both features was the strongest criterium to the selection of the passages.
