This study aimed to present and analyze the Project Recycling Opportunities: Generating Jobs and Income, which is being implemented in Montes Claros. Its development took place under two fundamental pillars: the first was about the bibliographic research of solid waste policy and about the Recycling Opportunities; and the second field research, conducted by Structured Interviews to the various actors of this Project. The study achieved its objectives and concluded, for example, that there is the need for greater participation of the City Hall of Montes Claros in theissues relating to urban waste and its implementation of the Recycling Opportunities.
