dc.description.abstractThis article arose from the necessity of the analysis of the process of fatuation inside a large public hospital, located in Belo Horizonte. The objective of this work is to optimize the hospital's billing process, besides identifying bottlenecks in the process and speeding up billing. We used bibliographic references with reference authors in hospital administration and process management, as well as active field research within the health institution. Several bottlenecks and improvement points were detected, as well as process optimization to make it more efficient and effective.
