Experiência em eventos culturais: um estudo sobre a virada cultural de Belo Horizonte 2014

Abstract

The cultural events has the potential of economic development, improve the image of cities and promotion capacity of new experiences forparticipants. This study aims to understand aspects of the experience of the people who participated in the Virada Cultural of Belo Horizonte in 2014,identifying them and evaluating them in perspective. To do so, this article was based on the concepts developed by Kim et. al. (2010): hedonism, senseof renewal, local culture, significant experience, acquired knowledge, involvement of participants and this new experience. A qualitative study wasperformed using semi-structured interviews with seven participants.
