dc.description.abstractThe recent advancement of digital technologies is transforming management processes and providing a new market logic. In the business world, this type of organizational change, called Digital Transformation, has been receiving significant attention from researchers as it results in a new order for achieving superior Business Performance. In this sense, this research aims to identify factors of Digital Transformation that induce superior organizational performance. The research field was investigated through Bibliometric Analysis and Theoretical Foundations that resulted in the proposition of a Theoretical Model. The methodological path was conducted through a survey with 321 company managers whose collected data were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The results confirmed that the adoption of digital technologies, the digital mindset and the digital institutional perspective are factors of Digital Transformation that induce digital innovation and superior organizational performance. In addition, it was also verified that the contribution of the factors digital mindset and digital institutional perspective for the Digital Transformation is greater than that provided by the adoption of digital technologies.
