Resumen
The reverse transcription chain reaction by plimerase (RT-PCR), the employee oligonucleotídeoas BIGN1 BIGN2 and was successfully used for amplification and detection part of the nucleocapsid gene (N) of samples of infectious bronchitis virus of chickens (IBV). Nine and 15 reference samples isolated from clinical cases of the disease in Minas Gerais between 1972 and 1989, showed the band of 438 bp specifies. Part of the N gene responsible for encoding the amino terminal region of nucleoprotein. The main product of amplification was confirmed by the analysis of polymorphism in the lengths of the fragments obtained with the use of restriction enzymes (RFLP).
