Elaboração de uma EPS para fabricação de uma viga soldada conforme a norma AWS D1.1/2010

Abstract

The qualification of a welding procedure is of paramount importance for companies working with fabrications and industrial assemblies, failure of equipment and or a metal structure may result in loss of materials, life and others. This work developed a specification of a welding procedure for the manufacture of a welded beam using as reference standard AWS D1.1 / 2010. This beam is part of the structure of a booster of water, a large Brazilian mining based on the manufacturing design of the same was carried out withdrawals of data such as for example thickness, the joint geometry, material and others from then were consultations in various literatures, especially in the AWS standard. Possession of all the information was drawn EPS since all the essential variables required by the standard and best practices so that the welding performed meets the quality standards required by the rules and ensure that the solder present good quality.
