dc.description.abstractHuman Progress and the sudden development of new technogies in the electricity área has risen the exposure levels to eletromagnetic fields to a great extent. There is an ever-growing concern on possible effects on human health due to the exposure to the different types of the electromagnetic energy.Organizations all over the world are continuously studying and researching the electromagnetic fields and the relations with human being.The knowledge of exposure levels due to time varyng eletromagnetic fields is essential to set exposure limits and to develop efficient protection techniques.The aim this work is the measurement of high frequency eletromagnetic fiels of some devices, the confrontation with the actual exposure limits, and a discussion to stimulate and to be a reference to future works in the área.
