Resumen
This paper is based in qualitative and quantitative evaluation of flight parameters, collected of Flight Data Monitoring System (FDM), during flight path of descent and approach for landing of jet aircraft, with purpose of evaluation the energy conditions as for that aspect of safety, operational efficiency and comfort in this flight segment. The qualitative evaluation using as reference primary flight parameters and complementary dates, as: altitude, air speed, vertical speed, attitude angle, fuel used, fuel flow, etc. From parameters was calculated the potential, kinetics, total (mechanics) in regular intervals applied this parameters in charts. Following, established metrics for evaluate the three aspects purposed. As for that flight safety aspect established that the energy conditions of aircraft would be evaluated metrics; as for that operational efficiency aspect established that the fuel used would be evaluated metrics; and, as for that comfort established that the vertical accelerations, calculated from vertical speed, would be evaluated metrics. In the quantitative evaluation applied the Data Envelopment Analysis DEA to verify DEA efficiency of aircrafts, using as reference the parameters of fuel used, time of flight and dissipated potential, kinetic and total energy. The results obtained by flights evaluated in the path of descent and approach to landing was satisfactory to the comprehension of three aspects: flight safety, operational efficiency and comfort. The results of qualitative and quantitative evaluation obtained in this paper will can serve as stimulus to broaden the academic researches in this area, using as reference large dates available in FDM and Decision Making Units DMUs, applying Data Mining (DM) and DEA; apart from support managers and flight safety analysts in decisions making, establishing a predictive method in operational risk managing that involve large operations of an airliner operator.
