Baixa adesão dos pacientes hipertensos a estratégia de tratamento e acompanhamento através do cuidado continuado

Abstract

The objective of this study was to develop an intervention project to act on the adherence to drug treatment or not. A literature narrative revision was made in the VHL databases, CAPES Portal and COCHRANE, using the descriptors hypertension, patient compliance, adherence to medication and regular care. After the review has been prepared an intervention project with reference to the Situational Strategic Planning, described in Planning and Evaluation in Health Specialization in Health's Center for Studies in Public Health module. It is hoped that this project stimulate the knowledge of the patients about self-care and chronic care and encourage adherence to pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, to reduce morbidity and mortality and improve quality of life.
