In the present date, the discussion regarding the necessary competences so that the professional that it penetrates to the job market consolidates has been reaching significant dimensions. Now, it is common to verify that those competences are generated starting from the educational axes, that it orientate the knowledge, the abilities and these professionals attitudes. Courses of professional formation, for it technical character, apply evaluations without considering the profile of the competences demanded by the market that will absorb their exits, focusing those more evaluations in regime of proof of the assimilation of contents. For the understanding that the proposal of formative evaluation is a substantial element for identification of the competences generated in vocational courses, the general objective of that intervention project is of presenting an alternative model of evaluation of competences generated in the course of professional formation of the Escola de Formação Profissional Enfermeira Francisca Saavedra based in the presuppositions of the formative evaluation. The used methodology evidenced a theoretical construction and a field stage, whose results culminated in the presentation of a work proposal, where the focus will be gone back to the application of a model of formative evaluation, to be accomplished opportunely by the teaching institution chosen. As results, it´s considered the materialization of the necessary elements to the generation of specific competences for the axis of the vocational courses maintained by the institution.
