dc.description.abstractIn this article we intend to discuss the forms of interaction and interlocution between academic knowledge and non - academic knowledge, based on experiences developed through the partnership between research groups of the UFMG ‘s School of Architecture and a struggle for housing, sustained in the articulation of tripod research, extension and teaching. We chose four extension experiments carried out over the last six years, which will be analyzed from the observation that, even without having been programmed, there was, throughout this time, an expansion of the scale of spatial coverage of the actions carried out, accompanied by another movement , concerning the scope of counter-narratives mapped on self-constructed urban occupations, made visible and amplified by collective cartographies, whose purpose was to complicate the understanding of these territories, often marked exclusively by the discourse of lack and precariousness.
