dc.description.abstract | Since the beginning of the practice of boxing as a sport, a little is known about the procedures for training its athletes due to the lack of published articles. The present study proposes support and implement specific exercises for training of boxing, as it is extremely important to Targeted Physical Training (TPD) in the periodization of any athlete, team and sport, representing those activities that cause adjustments directed to the physical conditioning that is the most similar to the conditions of practice of the sport itself. Based on the ways of physical training and strength in kinesiology, biomechanics and strength training, this study was carried out with some suggestions for exercises simulating various actions performed in a fight, as attacks and defenses, held in a gym, only with the implements of equipment and weights, it will serve as foundation for other types of exercises depending on where they are made. But this method must be used in physical training, on appropriated way, applying the related knowledge, serving as a reference of the extensive possibilities to optimize the training. | |
