Resumen
This project aims to design a study about the aversive effect of extinction at different times of a behavioral chain, analyzing the activation of c-Fos gene in the region of the prefrontal cortex, Hypothalamus and Amygdala in adult rats. The phenomenon of extinction behavior is explained by various authors and theories, as well as being widely exploited for clinical practice. But even being widely studied, there are still several questions about the subject. Therefore, this project conceptualizes the extinction phenomenon under the bias of Behavior Analysis, differentiating learning process known as Conditioning Operant and Responder, and are also explained the discrimination of stimulus processes and behavioral chain. By following the phenomena of Respondent and Operant Extinction are explained, and the aversive consequences of extinction processes evidenced by different studies, both the behavioral level as the biological level.
