dc.description.abstractThe iron ores have an iron and silica content that varies according to the iron and silicate mineral occurring in the ore and is critical in the production of pellets. An important equipment can bring direct impacts on the productivity of the pelletizing process, because it determines the silica content present in the iron ore fines. In the pelletizing process you must follow the silica content to attend the market specifications. If the silica analysis is fast and reliable, it can impact directly the pellets pellet quality. The methodology adopted was the literature research. It was concluded that the content analyze and process control in beneficiation and pelletizing plants are important.
