dc.description.abstractAiming to detect the relation between the criative process and the make artistic developed by the elementary final years’ students in art classes, and observe the significance of art and how it contributes to their development. This paper presents some authors, as Lev Semenovich Vigotsky, concepcions of creative process, Ana Mae Barbosa perpective of the art learning process and a brief reflection of Paulo Freire’s pedagogy as basis for building a theaching practice. The student’s had to identify the contact points between Pataxós’ body paintings and the contemporary tattoos, the creative process through artistic making and collective experiences was observed. It is concluded that art is capable of transforming the student through the pleasure in experience the make artistic linked to the the historical and cultural context and establishing relationships between the culture of a people and contemporary production.
