Educação ambiental na Vila Joana D'Arc: uma proposta de promoção de saúde, cidadania e qualidade de vida

Abstract

The work aims to report a proposal for intervention in Vila Joana Darc, belonging to the area covered by the Health Centre Tirol in Belo Horizonte, addressing the theme Environmental Education. During the Specialization Course in Primary Health Care for the Family, the author developed the Situational Diagnosis of Team Silver. As the main problem was detected inadequate disposal of garbage in the Village Jeanne Darc, which attracts insects and rodents to peridomicile population. This also degrades the environment, aggravates the health of the community. Environmental education within this context, together with health promotion is a prospect to develop citizenship and improve the quality of life.
