dc.description.abstractIn this work, copper strips were rolled to get tubes to be used in solar collector. The important process variables were: a) heat treatment temperature and b) the width of the strips. Wide strips result in poor joining, therefore narrow strips were chosen. High temperature also resulted in poor joining. The best choice was strips 100 mm width and heat treatment at 500°C.
