dc.description.abstract | Due to the rising global market and the increasingly advanced research in the search for new renewable forms of energy and ways to reduce the emissions of gases generated in industrial production, the search for more sustainable and efficient means of energy storage and distribution and the constant search for ways to guarantee the quality of delivery of electricity to the final consumer, the hydrogen appears as an important option to be evaluated and studied. Especially in terms of distribution and storage concomitant with other sources, since alternatives already known as solar and wind still present some obstacles in this regard. Growing researches on the use of hydrogen, specially in fuel cells, shows that its use is already a reality. This work aims at reviewing the theoretical knowledge about hydrogen and its applications, since this molecule shows high potential of being widely used soon. Through bibliographical research, we aim at knowing the value chain, as well as the technologies involved in the selection and use of engineering equipment for application in the Brazil energy matrix. | |
