| dc.description.abstract | Listed spaces must be places of memory, but also should be avaliable for daily use of the population responsible for the heritage act, and in Brazil, the support and protection of the public heritage are secured by the Federal Constitution. In this work, we research the heritage public sites from downtown Contagem, the use and meaning of the cultural assets, and the possibilities and connections for the Cultural Heritage to be better exploited by the local population. We also analyze the stablished relation between the individual and their housing space, and the singularities that enable the urban spaces, declared as Cultural Heritage, to own vitality and honor. At last, we inquire about the city of Contagem and its transformations, the local legislation development, referring to the protection of the social heritage sites, and possible action guidelines of public management for the Cultural Heritage | |
