| dc.description.abstract | This study is descriptive and qualitative, based on the situation analysis conducted by the team of family health city Jaguaraçu - MG. The study portrays about postpartum depression (PPD ), for this cause great impact on the lives of women, due to various changes in physiological, social, emotional, psychological and cultural aspects, and be understood as a public health problem. It is emphasized that the diagnosis is not always easy, and to be carried out effectively, it is necessary that health professionals are adequately prepared and trained for the signs and symptoms are identified. To do so, we must improve customer service, and perform diagnosis in a timely manner to promote the prevention, promotion, treatment and recovery of women with PPD. The objective of the study is to develop an action plan to intervene with the puerperae the area covered by the family health team city Jaguaraçu - MG, who have postpartum depression. The research was essential for the recognition of symptoms of PPD at postpartum, showing the importance of the health care team working in the role of monitoring of women who have this condition, and carry out strategies to act in promoting the health of women and their families, and prevention of injuries and targeting postpartum humanization. | |
