Abstract

This paper analyzes the present racism in the works of Monteiro Lobato and its implications for the spread of it. Lack of knowledge leads the educator to promote a racist speech leading students to play it in the contemporary world. The theme was discussed basing on implicit knowledge of the author and literature review articles, books and news that prove the argument of showing that in their Monteiro Lobato works presents its veiled and explicit racism.
