Resumen
The increase in the number of individuals with chronic renal failure has been significant, making the Chronic Kidney Disease a public health problem. People affected by this condition have besides the alterations of the underlying disease, systemic manifestations of renal damage consequent to the body. The patient usually presents with chronic kidney disease anemia and immune status changes, and requires a special strategy in dental treatment of this group. Furthermore, the use of drugs with action antiplatelet and those that rely on renal excretion or metabolism are to be avoided. This complex directly influences the clinical diagnosis and therapeutic dental care. Whereas chronic kidney disease often is ascribed to the catchment areas of the teams of the Family Health and Oral Health, dental surgeon, included in these teams should be prepared to address these dental patients. Thus, this paper proposes the development of recommendations for dental care to patients with chronic renal failure in hemolytic treatment in the Family Health Strategy. To this end, we used as methodological conduct a review non-systematic of basic research and review, about the dental care of chronic renal patient in treatment hemolytic. Aiming thus qualify the professional practices in oral health and promote the safe treatment, for both the patient and for the oral health team in order to contribute to a better quality of life of this population group.
