Qualidade da atenção pré-natal na Estratégia Saúde da Família: revisão de literatura

The prenatal period is a time of physical and psychological preparation for childbirth and motherhood and , as such , is a time of intense learning and an opportunity for professionals in the health care team to develop education as a dimension of the process of care . It should be organized to meet the real needs of the pregnant population through the use of technical and scientific knowledge and appropriate and available features for each case. A review of prenatal care can contribute to improving care for pregnant women , reducing rates of maternal mortality and perinatal. This work aim to raise in the literature , articles that show the quality of prenatal care in Brazil and relate them to main difficulties in performing adequate prenatal care. How Methodology , used the Literature Review , where articles based on electronic bibliographies SciELO and LILACS, with work carried out between the years 2005 to 2013 were surveyed . In conclusion, prenatal care in Brazil is still inadequate , several articles surveyed had serious flaws such as lack of access of pregnant women , lack of binding , lack of professional training, lack of resources for exams . With this, we observe that we need to invest in prenatal care holistically, health professionals need to be trained and made aware of the quality of antenatal and iterating the pre-established clinical protocols.
