Renal disease presents acute and chronic complications and has led its patients to seek more and more urgent service. Preventive measures and early diagnosis are relevant behaviors in the management of this disease. This descriptive study of the exploratory qualitative searchstudy were to identify the profile of the renal patients coming from the Emergency Care Unit for the ICU of a private hospital in Minas Gerais and to identify in the literature the diagnoses of patients undergoing renal transplantation. In order to do so, we searched the MV system for all patient data admitted to the emergency room and then for data on patients who underwent renal transplantation who underwent ICU after transplantation. The literature indicates that the nurse, in comparison to other professionals, is in direct contact with the transplanted patient and, for this reason, there are several ways that can contribute to the health of the patient and to the success of the transplant. it is important to expand knowledge to act as interdisciplinary team, to know the profile of their patients and to apply the Nursing Care Systematization because it is very useful to subsidize nursing interventions and improve clinical responses. A literature review was performed to identify the main diagnoses of post-transplant patients, using four databases. Key Words: Acute Renal Injury; Acute Renal Failure; Acute Renal Disease; emergency medical services; Emergency Relief- Emergency care; Renal Transplantation, Nursing care (processes, interventions) and Post-Transplantation
