O uso do controle estatístico de processo para avaliação do consumo de combustível no transporte rodoviário de cargas: um estudo de caso

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate semi-trucks fuel consumption in terms of hauling. For that, we used both statistical process control (SPC) and the process capability evaluation, considering a performance variable of a logistics companys semi-trucks, chosen as case study. Based on these concepts, two methods were defined to evaluate fuel consumption: performance control and performance capability evaluation. Both methods were validated through that case study, the semi-trucks mentioned before, showing its potential in terms of policy development for control and performance improvements of semi-trucks fleet used for hauling.
