| dc.description.abstract | The term diabetes mellitus (DM) represents a heterogeneous group of disorders of metabolism characterized by hyperglycemia resulting from defects and/or secretion of insulin action. Considered a chronic condition, its incidence is increasing considerably worldwide, especially in developing countries. The best in diabetes guidelines recommend treatment based on medicinal and non-medicinal measures. In this case, the changes in lifestyle are envisaged. Acting as a doctor of the family health Strategy, understand a low adhesion of the diabeticpatients to the glucose goals. On the problem, this paper proposed an action plan to increase the membership of the diabetic patient to treatment, using the group as a modality of educational attention. The site chosen for the intervention was the community of São Benedito, in SantaLuzia, MG. For the development of the contingency plan was used the method of the Situational Strategic Planning (PES). Were used secondary data of IBGE, the municipality and the DATASUS. The theoretical reference sought publications in Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo), Latin American literature and Caribbean Health Sciences (LILACS), database of nursing (BDENF) and in the Ministry of Health. | |
