A coordenação pedagógica e o enfrentamento do fracasso escolar

This paper aimed to analyze the possible contributions of the pedagogical coordinator in the confrontation of the elementary school in the classes of the 6th grade of the Elementary School. One motivation for the present work was due to the perception of an increase in students retained in the year in which it was researched since the classes were taught by specialist teachers, no longer by pedagogues. A survey was conducted at the Milton Campos Municipal School (EMMC), a primary school belonging to the Belo Horizonte school system, which is located on the outskirts of the city. In the research process, documentary analysis was performed, through the daily class, to survey relevant data for the study, as well as interviews with teachers and school management team.Through the data and testimonials used by the interview participants, we aim to understand the main reasons that are detected in the 6th grade classes, so that, related to the theoretical references on the subject, finding possible alternatives for the assistants or occupants of this function to combat this reality in the school environment.
