dc.description.abstractThis study seeks to compare the self-compacting concrete (SCC) with conventional concrete simple (CCV), bibliographic searches through books, dissertations and monographs on the subject, as well as research in the field of the most common problems in concretagens conventional (CCV). The paper starts with a brief history of the emergence of concrete is considered one of the most amazing discovery of humanity at the end of the nineteenth century, with its intensive use in the twentieth century, and is also addressed the emergence of self-compacting concrete, with his great milestone in the history can be as great considered proposer this new technology professor Okamura University of Tokyo in 1986 by introducing the concept of self-made adensável .São reviews the properties of self-compacting concrete in the fresh state, test methods ABNT, NBR 15823/2010, the basic components of concrete CAA and CCV, and demonstrating the comparative advantages of the CAA regarding the CCV technology that came to auxilar on increasing the quality and durability of the armed structures, increasing its life and avoiding manifetações future pathological.
