Matemática financeira: uma abordagem prática

Abstract

The objective of this study is to broach the financial mathematics both in its formal aspect, through the theoretical basis, correlating with the application of arithmetic and geometric progressions, and show it in his practical way, through real examples, using tools such as HP 12C calculator and Excel spreadsheets. It's important to emphasize, though, that the purpose isn't offering a complete manual for using Excel and the HP 12C calculator, once this approach will be applied only in problem solving, for those which are more usual these tools.. Furthermore, it is intended to show clearly Financial Mathematics for high school students, whose subject is mandatory for technical courses students and higher education, especially in the areas of Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, International Trade and so on.
