dc.description.abstractThe present study sought to understand how the structure of a system of mobility by bicycle can represent a process of reorganization and reconfiguration of the urban space, taking as a case study of the city of Belo Horizonte. In this sense some descriptive analyses sued based on bibliographies and works already published concerning mobility, so as to introduce the bike and other relevant variants to the topic, which directly influence in daily shifts amid the chaos of the present congestion in most major cities. With it you can reach an understanding about the facts involving the conduct of urban mobility in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte and also the configuration of cycling infrastructure investments, which have been produced in an attempt to increase the travels by bicycle, in addition to promoting greater integration and better use of the areas cities.
