dc.description.abstractThis work presents a specialized experience in the process of imaginative creativity with a view to the construction of knowledge in visual arts in Art-Education, from my experience as a student of the Specialization Course in Teaching of Visual Arts and Contemporary Technologies and my practice as art / educator in a public school in the municipal district, on the outskirts of Belo Horizonte, during 2019, with students between 12 and 14 years old. This experience involved artistic productions from stimuli provided by the literature of Manoel Wenceslau Leite de Barros, Brazilian poet. Earlier this year, an useful issue was raised for the irregular disposal of waste and waste at the school door. From this issue, the possibility arose of associating a literature by this poet, which he values or not, even activities related to the discipline Art. With that, you can work with the use of cognitive tools so that, through imagination, students can see this problem with another look. This process was experienced by pedagogical practices that resulted in a poem book, an exhibition of three-dimensional objects and a panel, making this project go beyond the school walls. The set of this active experience between the University and the classroom, selects the dialogue between teaching / learning and generates elements about the process and the result of the works performed by the students, which now allows to receive a critical reflection.
