In Brazil, there is little talk about notarial services and registration, popularly called notary offices. Even with the advent of the Federal Constitution of 1988, which brought significant changes to Notarial and Registrant Law, this is still an under-exploited issue. However, the theme is relevant and affects the lives of all citizens. In this context, this article aims to analyze publications on the notarial and registration services carried out in recent years. The method used is the descriptive, being the material of analysis books, legislation and published legal articles of physical or electronic form. Some texts dealt with the various types of notary services and registration, others related to the competence of the delegates of these services, in addition to those who demonstrated the importance of the activities carried out by them. It can be seen that, although there is material available on this subject, it can be considered scarce in relation to publications from other branches of law.
