A baixa adesão ao tratamento farmacológico de pacientes com Hipertensão Arterial Sistêmica da área 37 da unidade de Atenção Primária a Saúde de Santa Cruz em Juiz de Fora

Abstract

Systemic Arterial Hypertension is a chronic multifactorial disease that needs to be controlled and monitored. The necessary change in the lifestyles, together with the active participation of the individual in the accomplishment of the drug therapy, guarantee a quality and a longer life expectancy, with the reduction of the risk of cardiovascular, renal, cerebral and circulatory complications. One of the major problems observed in the hypertensive population is the lack of adherence to drug treatment, as well as the control of related risk factors. Thus, the present study aims to describe the main health problems in the region of the Santa Cruz Family Health Team, area 37 Vila Paraíso, in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, highlighting the high number of hypertensive individuals and who do not carry out the medication treatment properly. The methodology chosen to make the action plan was the Strategic Situational Planning, followed by the theoretical and scientific review of the aspects. In this sense, the present study aims to describe the main health problems in the region of the Santa Cruz Family Health Team, area 37 Vila Paraíso, in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais and among them, highlight the most significant problem, identify its critical nodes, causes and consequences. The methodology chosen to make the action plan was the Strategic Situational Planning, followed by the theoretical and scientific review of the aspects. With the implementation of the elaborated plan, we can help the team to improve their performance, compliance with clinical protocols of care, flows of follow-ups and a greater knowledge and adherence on the part of patients when making their treatment. This was possible through the accomplishment of actions such as: early diagnosis, monitoring and registration of hypertensive patients, information about the subject about the subject and organization of services with the aim of better care for hypertensive patients.
