Resumen
In the multiple scene of the school are developed many relationships and practices among its individuals in which cultural expressions are incorporated by the school. As a way to compose the work of teachers, in which the main characteristic is the intersubjective relationship established between teachers and students, the artistic expressions such as cinema are commonly present in projects and others pedagogical practices. In this direction, and considering the importance of the cinema as a means of thinking and expressing yourself, understanding of content, learning and teaching, affectation/ sensibilization, aesthetic experimentation and cultural appropriation, among others of its potential, we investigate a pedagogical project related with cinema, that involved the exhibition of films at school and in a movie theater, the "Cine Marajá". The project was conducted in a public school in the city of Pedro Leopoldo - MG, "Escola Estadual de Pedro Leopoldo Fazenda Modelo", located in a region of the meeting between the center of the city and the rural area, which offers primary and secondary levels average teaching, serving approximately 585 students in morning and afternoon shifts, with about 23 teachers working in these two rounds and levels. The research was conducted between August of the year 2012 and November of the year 2013 , with 4 teachers and 27 young people, we had as the point of analysis the Project The School goes to the movies : the use of film language in Education"/ Projeto A Escola vai ao cinema: o Uso da Linguagem Cinematográfica na Educação, developed in this school, considering as our main objective the guiding principles, its structure , and dynamics of this proposal, as well as the vision of the creaters and participants teachers and students about the project. In the methodological steps of the investigation, we tried to understand this issue through a direct observation of the activities of the Project; informal conversations, questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with a group of teachers and young students, its actors, as well as interview semi-structured with the Cine Marajá's owner, where some films were shown to the students. Among the things that we found in the research, we found positive prospects of students and teachers about the Project, stressing that to the students the Project collaborates to the experimentation of spaces and situations outside of the school , and for the teachers , it works to improve their interpersonal relationships with the students and facilitate their work with classroom contents. The activities with film in the school, as the teachers observed, also contribute to the creating of a favorable climate for this art in the school. It was also evident that there are difficulties, and tensions in the realization of the proposal regarding the use of school time for viewing movies and preparation of activities, with respect to the domain of the elements of the film by the teachers. Moreover, we find a demand of young students for participation, particularly in the choice of films of the Project.
