This article has two basic aims: (1) analyze the Ramsey-sentence, specially the interpretation made by Rudolf Carnap, trying to show the role it plays in the debate about scientific realism and antirealism; and (2) present how, against the empiricist and antirealistic intentions of Carnap, the Ramsey-sentence leads to a structural realism, where the realism is mitigated in its ambitions to name the entities in the world, as well as the antirealism in its description of theories as mere formal constructs.
