Análise de variação das propriedades mecânicas a tração provocada pela trefilação de barras de aço AISI 1212

Abstract

The purpose was to study the variation of mechanical properties of AISI 1212 action bars when subjected to a pass from trefitação, considering the influence of redundant work. From the analysis of results obtained after the application of theories WISTREICH, BACKFEN, Caddell and Atkins and Johnson and Rowe are proposed ways to predict the Yield Strength and Ultimate Tensile Strength of materials after trefitação. It also discusses the prediction of the ultimate elongation of these materials using empirical curves obtained.
