dc.description.abstractMelanoma is a cancer that primarily affects the oral cavity of the dogs, forming a mass of pigment blackened in most cases. It is characterized by being highly metastatic, invasive and have rapid growth when it comes to their malignant form. The paper aims to describe a case of intraocular melanoma with metastasis to meninge, lungs, kidney and heart. A male dog of 11 years of age was sent for autopsy in the Department of Veterinary Pathology, Veterinary School and diagnosis of intraocular melanoma metastatic meningeal, pulmonary, renal and cardiac.
