Abstract

The TICs expansion and the development of the digital tools applied to design are open new horizons to designers. The intending of this work is present a view of the main trends of the digital tools applied to design, which have been research all around the world. And appoint how manner Brazilian professionals are inserted in this movement. The digital tool applied to the project process which stands out in relation of the publication and followers number, as internationally as in Brazil is BIM. Thats why we investigate deeply, in order to discuss the implications of its adoption in country, in national scope, to take regional market in consideration, based on Belo Horizonte city.
