Enteroparasitoses na infância, seus determinantes sociais e principais consequências: uma revisão bibliográfica

Intestine parasitism constitutes serious problem of public health of affecting millions of people in the whole world, over all in the underdeveloped, responsible countries for pictures of chronic dysentery and malnutrition, compromising the physical and intellectual development, mainly in the younger bands. The present study it searched to know the relation between determinative social and the intestines parasite and its consequences in children in Brazil. The study it was carried through by means of bibliographical revision with research in the databases of the Virtual Library of health (BVS). As the main determinants of parasite child and young had been identified: the social economic conditions of the individuals, the precariousness in the basic sanitation, the low level of personal and collective hygiene, precarious conditions of housings, agglomeration of people, low level of instruction and age of the host. The main group reached for parasitic disease is juvenile this if it must the diverse factors, as immunity, level of hygiene, degree of instruction of the parents, type of feeding, type of frequented pertaining to school institution, amongst others. The main complications in infancy, due of the parasitics diseases, include the anemia, malnutrition, dysentery, poor school performance, low income and low growth weighted, being able to be attributed, mainly the high parasitic loads, as well as constants reinfections.
