Resumen
Jacques Derrida sees the crisis of democracy not in terms of a historical movement to be
overcome by compensatory actions, but in terms of a permanent crisis always already caused
by an autoimmune system that attacks the democratic organism from the inside. The
privileged way to resist this permanent crisis consists in the possibility of imagining an
unprogrammed and unpredictable avenir that turned out to become the object of severe
criticism by major representatives of the Marxist tradition.
