dc.description.abstractThe permanent education is the process of learning at work, in which learning and teaching need to be incorporated into the daily lives of professionals and labor organizations. Considering a nurse as an essential professional in labor organizations in health, this study proposes a reflection on the perspective of nursing education during and after the trainings, with an emphasis on the permanent education process in health. The strategy adopted was the Integrative Review of Literature. For the definition of the studys population, it was used the Database - SCIELO, MEDLINE and BIREME, conventional libraries, virtual library of Theses and Dissertations, through the descriptors "Nursing", "Nursing Education", and "Continued Education", which publications from 2000 to 2011 are included. The analysis is descriptive and the results highlight the need of including the permanent education in the routine of nursing professionals.
