dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to present a study on the possibility of teaching arts, from cultural events the city of Santana dos Montes. through the Education Project for the Arts developed with students of 2nd year of high school , PROETI participants in the State School " Dr. João Nogueira de Almeida " . The research involved a literature review , field research , analysis of documents , visits, interviews, videos, knowledge of the treatment of the issue of cultural tourism in the city . At the end of the project it was concluded that the students came to observe and mostly understood as to cultural events are important and are present in their daily lives.
