Hablar de Dios en el nuevo escenario científico y cultural

Abstract

Resumen: A lo largo de la historia se registran procesos de profundo cambio cultural que implican un desafío para el discurso sobre Dios y para una evangelización inculturada y viva. Esos cambios suelen fundarse en importantes descubrimientos y avances científicos que terminan transformando la comprensión de la realidad. El diálogo con las ciencias es por ello un momento constitutivo del quehacer teológico, imprescindible para la comprensión de cada nuevo escenario cultural. En este artículo se analizan los rasgos fundamentales del nuevo escenario cultural y científico y sus consecuencias y posibilidades para la comprensión y el hablar del Dios trino en el mundo actual.

Abstract: Across history deep cultural changes take place challenging the current speech about God and the possibility of a lively and cultural embedded evangelization. These changes are frequently motivated on important discoveries and scientific advances that end up transforming our understanding of reality. The dialogue with sciences is, for this reason, a constitutive moment of the task of doing theology; a critical one for the understanding of the new cultural scenarios. This article analyzes the fundamental features of the new cultural and scientific scenery, and its consequences and possibilities for the understanding and the speech about the Trinitarian God in the present world.
