Diseño para la adecuación de la infraestructura física de la Corporación Hogar Sendero de Luz

Abstract

RESUMEN: La mayoría de las instituciones de salud enfocadas al cuidado, tratamiento y control de ancianos, son organizaciones sin ánimo de lucro que no cuentan con los suficientes recursos económicos e infraestructura física para la óptima prestación del servicio acorde con el grupo poblacional al cual se orienta. El Hogar Sendero de Luz presta sus servicios en una vivienda antigua que carece de instalaciones adecuadas a los requerimientos técnicos y de funcionamiento, acordes con la naturaleza de los usuarios. Este estudio consiste en reconocer las condiciones actuales de la vivienda y determinar mediante normas establecidas la adecuación espacial y la capacidad estructural de la misma ante un sismo o cualquier otro evento, para que sea segura y este de acuerdo con sus necesidades funcionales. Mediante visitas técnicas, se elaboran planos arquitectónicos de la vivienda y se identifican aspectos relevantes, los cuales serán el punto de partida para determinar la adecuación espacial, la vulnerabilidad de la vivienda y las prioridades a la hora de realizar las propuestas. Este proyecto pretende brindar a los habitantes del Hogar una mejor calidad de vida, garantizando a partir de propuestas económicas y eficientes, que la edificación cumpla con los requerimientos exigidos por las normas.

ABSTRACT: Most non-prof it healthcare organizations specialized in the treatment and care of senior citizens lack the appropriate funds and facilities to perform their social services consistent with their object population. The shelter "Sendero de Luz" operates in an antique house, which lacks the proper facilities and doesn't meet the required technical and operational specifications in accordance to the nature of the users they aftend and the service they offer. This study consists of evaluating the present conditions of the house and determines, according to present-day regulations and norms, structural and spatial reforms needed in order to withstand an earthquake or any other natural phenomenon and operate safely in accordance to its functional needs. Architectural blueprints, relevant aspects of the building (which are the starting point in determining the spatial distribution), the vulnerability and the priority order in which to develop the studies proposals were identified after severa¡ technical visits. This study intends to devise severa¡ economically viable and efficient proposals by which the house can meet the standards and present-day regulations, improving the shelter's inhabitant's quality of life.
