Diseño de un plan de movilidad sostenible para la Universidad EIA

Abstract

RESUMEN: El problema de la contaminación del aire a nivel mundial es una realidad, y en el Valle de Aburrá no es una excepción, por tal motivo el Área Metropolitana del Valle de Aburrá emitió la resolución NO1379 del año 2017 para exigir un plan de movilidad sostenible (PMS) a todas las organizaciones que cuenten con más de 200 trabajadores de manera directa o indirecta. Sin embargo, la sede de Las Palmas de la Universidad EIA por estar fuera del casco urbano cuenta con una excepción, al no tener la necesidad de acogerse a esta resolución. A pesar de esto, la universidad EIA se plantea la posibilidad de tener un PMS para su comunidad, conociendo que esta iniciativa busca promover estrategias dentro de su organización que fomenten la movilidad sostenible. Es por tal razón, que se ve la necesidad de diseñar un PMS para la Universidad EIA basado en la metodología expuesta por el AMVA. La guía propuesta expone cuatro etapas, las cuales son: realizar una evaluación del sitio, diseñar una encuesta de movilidad sostenible para la comunidad EIA, planear las estrategias y el plan de implementación, socialización y monitoreo del PMS. Con la realización del proyecto se aspira una futura reducción en la emisión del CO2 emitido por los medios de transporte involucrados en el recorrido de ida y vuelta de la Comunidad EIA.

ABSTRACT: The problem of air pollution worldwide is a reality, and in the Aburrá Valley is not an exception, for such reason the Metropolitan Area of the Aburrá Valley issued the resolution NO1379 of 2017 to require a sustainable mobility plan (PMS) to all organizations that have more than 200 workers directly or indirectly. However, the headquarters of Las Palmas of the EIA university has also an exception as being outside the urban area, it consists of not having the need to take advantage of this resolution. Notwithstanding, EIA University is considering the possibility of having a PMS for its community, knowing that this initiative seeks to promote strategies within its organization that promote sustainable mobility. It is for this reason that we see the need to design a PMS for our university EIA based on the methodology set out by the AMVA. The proposed guide is made up of four stages, which are: conducting a site assessment, designing a sustainable mobility survey for the EIA community, planning strategies and implementation plan, socialization, and monitoring of the PMS. With the completion of the project, a future reduction in the CO2 emissions is expected, which is emitted by the means of transportation involved in the commutes and trips to and from the EIA university.
