Acciones estratégicas para fortalecer el ecoturismo comunitario en la Ciénaga de Tesca o La Virgen, Distrito Turístico y Cultural de Cartagena de Indias.

Abstract

Se realizó el trabajo investigativo en la Ciénaga de Tesca, corregimiento de La Boquilla, cuyo propósito fue plantear acciones estratégicas participativas con la comunidad, para fortalecer el ecoturismo comunitario. Se aplicó una metodología desde la perspectiva epistemológica del constructivismo y la perspectiva teoríca del interpretativismo, donde se utilizó en su mayoría el método cualitativo, con la realizaron 7 talleres sobre cartografía social, valores y turismo. Asimismo, se llevaron a cabo 47 entrevistas a los habitantes y en cuanto al método cuantitativo 50 encuestas a turistas. Esto con el fin de identificar el estado actual del turismo, actores, formas de organización, determinar la opinión de la comunidad y visitantes en cuanto el territorio y el turismo. Como resultado los habitantes propusieron aliados, acciones y proyectos que conformarían las acciones estratégicas que se dividieron en cuatro fases la primera de organización, la segunda preparación del destino, la siguiente fortalecimiento y creación del producto turístico y la última de promoción. Resaltando el trabajo en conjunto, la importancia de velar por la protección de sus recursos naturales y culturales, el fortalecimiento de las relaciones entre actores, fortaleciendo la imagen del destino y el turismo comunitario.

The investigative work was carried out in the Ciénaga de Tesca, La Boquilla, whose purpose was made participatory strategic actions with the community, to strengthen community ecotourism. The methodology applied was the epistemological perspective of constructivism and the theoretical perspective of interpretivism, where the qualitative method was mostly used, with the realization of 7 workshops on social cartography, values and tourism were executed. Likewise, 47 interviews were made with the population and in terms of the quantitative method, 50 surveys of tourists. This, in order to identify the current state of tourism, actors, forms of organization, determine the opinion of the community and visitors regarding the territory and tourism. As a result, the habitants proposed allies, actions and projects that would make up the strategic actions that were divided into four phases: the first of organization, the second preparation of the destination, the next one strengthening and creation of the tourist product and the last one promotion. Highlighting joint work, the importance of ensuring the protection of its natural and cultural resources, strengthening relationships between actors, reinforce the image of the destination and community tourism.
